How to create a job in SAP basis--A step by step guide

In this post i will tell the how to create a job in SAP BASIS. This is the step by step guide for creating the job in sap basis.
1. login with your master password and username

2. Execute the sm36 t code for creating the job


3. Continue with that dialogue box. Click continue for create.

4. Then it will show the general job information and put our requirement i.e Job name, Job class- (high, low, medium) job status, Target server.

5. Defining a job step by three option a)ABAB program step b) External command as a step
      c) External program as a step. For my convenience i choose ABAB program step

6. Define an ABAP program job step. In this step three option asking ABAP program name, Variant, Execution language.

7. Multi-step jobs shown if you want means choose otherwise not choose.

8.Jon definition:Start conditions. i.e Immediately, date/time, after job, after event, at operation mode switch, start on workday, do not release job.

9. Start the job immediately list the nob name, job class, target server, steps defined, start condition.

10. Bottom of the page shown the job name VRK saved with status released
11. Job has been created and view our job in sm37 tcode.

ST22 ABAP dump analysis

sm13 monitoring update statistics

In sm13 you can monitor the update statistics if unwanted updated in particular user means you can delete or cancel that update and check critical update and non critical update here. list the update activity by date and time.

sm51 and sm50

To find out the SAP system server by using the tcode as sm51. The only one application server is in this system showing something like that.

This server is active or passive it showing in the particular space. Goto edit---> change stste----> Activate pr deactivate.

How do assign roles in sap basis

               In SAP BASIS assigning of roles is very important  step to the employees. This is the small guide to how assign roles in the sap basis. the step by step procedure to guide assigning of single and composite roles in the sap basis.
step 1: Login the master user name and password as per our requirement
step 2: Execute the t code su01 and create the user name as per our requirement.

step 3 : After creation of user then you have to login with master user name and password.

step 4 : then execute the t code pfcg, then you will see the below dialog box.

Step 5: Role maintenance dialog box will open create the role name start with X, Y, Z only as seen below image.

Step 6: for example create the single role then click role button,

              ----> click the menu button, then add the description.

             ------>click the transaction button then add the tcode for authorization, then add assignment.

             ---------->click save button, then click the authorization menu, then find the change                                                authorization data

             ---------------->then click the generate button then it showing the profile has been created. During creation of this profile profile wizard showing and edit as per our requirement.

            -------------------->then click the user button then you have to enter the required user name , click the user comparison.













Step 7: Then you will see the role and profile automatically created in the user...
